Q. If you sign up for a demo, how long do you get to ride the bike?
A. You will have a 2 hour window to get yourself to and from the trail and get a good ride in. With our proximity to the trails, this should leave you give you plenty of time to get a good feel for your bike of choice.
Q. What if I want to demo a couple bikes in one day? Will that be possible with the crowds?
A. We have a large number of bikes relative to ticket sales. You should be able to check out two bikes per day.
Q. Can I buy food and beer at the festival?
A. At designated times, we will have food trucks on site and beer available for purchase. Check Schedule for times/info.
Q. Can I light stuff on fire?
A. No fires. No charcoal grills. Camp stoves are cool.
Q. How seriously do you enforce rules?
A. All substances deemed illegal at the federal, state, and local level are prohibited.
Q. What if I want to run amuck and act a fool?
A. Inappropriate behavior will not be tolerated. Security staff reserve the right to remove anyone from the property immediately without a refund if they deem it necessary.
Q. Wait, I thought The Bike Farm and the REEB Ranch were one in the same.
A. No, The Bike Farm is an entirely separate entity. The Bike Farm is a guide, coaching, and concierge service with a base camp offering camping and glamping adjacent to Pisgah National Forest. The Oskar Blues REEB Ranch is adjacent to DuPont State Recreation Forest and offers a beautiful venue for special events, weddings, as well as camping and accommodations. The Bike Farm team is proud to have helped bring the Oskar Blues REEB Ranch to life, and now operates on an entirely separate property.
Q. Can I bring my dog/cat/parrot/wildebeest?
A. Pets are not allowed on at the REEB Ranch during this festival (at any time).
Pets are allowed at The Bike Farm, but can not be left unattended at any time, for any reason.
Q. Can I bring my kids?
A. Kids are awesome. Kids under 12 can attend the festival for free. Children and anyone under the age of 18 must have a parent or guardian with them the entire time.
Q. Can I litter?
A. Absolutely not
Q. Can I smoke or vape?
A. We wish you wouldn’t, but if you must, please be aware of and sensitive to the people around you. Dispose of cigarette butts in the appropriate containers.
Q. Can I be super loud and obnoxious all night long while people are trying to sleep?
A. No. Everyone loves sleep. Let’s party hard and then chill out. Lights out in designated camping zones at 11 p.m.
